Please note all Glass devices purchased through Chironix will already have the latest version of Metix installed so the following steps may be unnecessary.
Before installing Metix, please ensure you have the latest version of firmware on your Glass device. You can find the instructions for this here.
1. Connect your device
1.1 Connect your device via USB-C cable to your computer. When connecting, you should be prompted to Allow USB Debugging on the Glass display. Tap to allow. If USB Debugging is not enabled, your device may not show in the list.
1.2 On the Glass unit, you need to Enable Developer Options.
To do this, from the homescreen, swipe forward to open the settings menu. Continue swiping until you see "Developer Options". Tap to enable.
2. Download Metix installer
Select and download the relevant link below to begin downloading the Metix Installer.
The download should begin automatically.

Windows Metix Installer for Windows
Once complete, the application will open to begin the process. Select Get Started when ready.
3. Installing Metix
3.3.1 Once USB debugging is enabled, your Google Glass device should appear.
Multiple devices can be connected at once to speed up installation.
3.3.2 Select the device and click Install Metix to device when ready.
DO NOT unplug or interrupt your device during this process.
4. Metix App on Glass device
Once complete, check the app menu on the Glass device.
You may need to restart your device to see the Metix app. Hold the power button to power off, and turn back on.
